Casey’s Kettle Corn Shoot

Got a call early this morning. Could I come and do a product shoot for Casey’s Kettle Corn here in Sequim? It was Captain-Crystal Stout who works for them. I work on her ground crew for Morning Star Balloon company and she knows that I do not only video work but product photography as well. Sure, I said, when do you need me? Now, she said! It was nine o’clock and Casey had to leave for Seattle at 9:30. Oh, I said. Yeah, I can make that happen as I threw my camera gear into the bag and headed for the door.

We aim to please here at Spirit Vision Films! I was there in about 15 minutes after I hung up. It was really convenient that Casey’s was only about a mile from my house!

So I got to meet Casey and the crew. Shot about a 130 images in about 20 minutes and let Casey get on his way to Seattle. Just uploaded their images to Crystal. I hope they like them!

Casey’s Kettle Corn is a great organization. They do a lot of benefit work for folks around the Sequim – Port Angeles area and we like that around here at Spirit Vision Films! So when you see their product on your local store’s shelves, pick up a bag. Not only do they help folks out, but darn if their kettle corn is some of the best I’ve tasted!

Check the gallery out of their operation here in Sequim. Here is their contact information if you want to get hooked up with their great kettle corn:

  1. I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your blog.
It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable
for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire
out a designer to create your theme? Outstanding work!

    1. Thank you for the kind words. This is a free WordPress template that is easily customizable. They have literally dozens of great themes. As a photographer and videographer, I have a lot of archived work that I can plug in. Keeping the content fresh is really the main task. Thanks again for your comment! Christopher

  2. Howdy! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.
Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I
can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about
making my own but I’m not sure where to start.
Do you have any points or suggestions? Thanks

    1. No problem Madura. This a free WordPress.com template for a blog. They have many different templates that might fit your style. I paid an extra $13 to have my Spirit Vision Films domain inserted into the blog so you don’t actually know that it is a WordPress blog. They have both blog and web sites that are fairly easy to set-up. I know a little about content as I have a degree in multimedia communication, which does help, but is not necessary to insert photos, video, or written content. Try them out and see if it works for you. Blogger.com is another free site that has a lot of different templates. Either one will help you I think. Hope this helps! Best regards, Christopher

    1. As said elsewhere in this blog, I use a WordPress blog template. They have websites too. They are also free, which I really like. By paying a small fee you can use your own domain instead of the WordPress domain, giving the appearance of a custom made blog site. You have the option to buy more detailed blog and websites from them as well. I just didn’t see the necessity, as I use this blog site to steer potential clients I have met to show them some of the work I have done. So I am not dependent on internet traffic for my business like some other businesses that want to drive clients to their sites. Hope this helps! Thanks for the question. Chris

  5. Do you mind if I quote a few of your articles as long as I
provide credit and sources back to your site? My blog is in the very
same niche as yours and my users would really benefit from some of the information you provide here.
Please let me know if this alright with you. Thanks a lot!
