Today we flew Spirit Two for the Sunland Water District. They did some major work to their waste water treatment plant off Woodcock Road outside of Sequim and wanted to take some aerial shots of the new construction to highlight the before and after aspects of their hard work.
Spring has come to the North Olympic Peninsula with unusually warm and clear weather for the beginning of April. (Some locations may even have broken the high record for this time of the year!) Needless to say it was an excellent day to fly Spirit Two for our new clients. Mike Langley and Rich Sleeper of the water district were extremely helpful and it is always a pleasure to work with such great folks!
It was a very straight forward shoot at just under 300 feet. The camera was set to take both JPEG and RAW images and with a polarizer attached, the UAV flew 360 degrees around the plant taking dozens of shots for them. We always like to take more than we need!
I’ll share a few below. Another great day to live and work on the Peninsula!
