On the Road – Olympic National Park Fall

We finally got the finishing touches on the latest PAPA TV, On the Road episode – Olympic National Park Fall.

We had a lot of fun putting this one together. We spent the night at the Lake Crescent Lodge and really enjoyed our stay there. The fall foliage was excellent in the Sol Duc River Valley, we got to see a bobcat hunting salmon at the Salmon Cascades. Hung out at the Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort and finished our trip at the Sol Duc Falls.

Ross Hamilton was great, giving us tips on photographing the fall season in these amazing areas. This man really loves the peninsula. After photographing this area with a large format camera for nearly 50 years, Ross unfortunately lost his eyesight to glaucoma. With help from his friends he gives talks around the peninsula on his photographic work in the park and around the Olympic Peninsula. He is truly inspiring. It was great working with him, as well as Elaine Cochran my narrator.

Hope you enjoy this adventure into the Olympic National Park …. we did!
